Get Your Home Ready to Impress Buyers
Practical, hands-on styling for homeowners preparing to sell — using the furniture, bedding, artwork and decorative pieces already in your home.
I help you look at your property through a buyer's eyes, make the rooms feel clearer and more welcoming, and create a practical plan for photography, inspections and open homes.
Small Changes Can Make a Home Feel Completely Different
When you live in a home every day, it can be difficult to see what a buyer will notice first.
A room may feel perfectly comfortable to you, but in photographs the furniture arrangement might make it appear smaller. Personal collections can create visual clutter. A spare room may not clearly show buyers how the space could be used.
Sale Ready Styling gives you an objective, practical review of the home before it goes to market. We work room by room, concentrating on what will improve presentation without turning the process into an expensive full-home makeover.
Style What You Own — Without Full Property Staging
This service is designed for occupied homes that already have furniture, bedding, artwork and accessories to work with. I do not bring a stock collection of hired styling pieces into the property.
Instead, I edit, rearrange, simplify and style what is already there so each room feels clearer, more balanced and ready to be photographed and viewed by potential buyers.
If one or two small additional pieces would genuinely improve the presentation, I can suggest suitable options for the vendor to purchase directly. More extensive product sourcing is outside the fixed service and is only undertaken as separately approved support.
Sale Ready Styling & Action Plan
A defined, hands-on service for homeowners who want professional presentation advice without the cost of full furniture staging.
Up to 2 Hours In-Home Styling + Written Action Plan
Before the visit, I review the property photographs and any key information you provide. During the appointment, we concentrate on the changes that will make the biggest difference to how the home presents.
- Pre-visit review of supplied property photographs
- Up to 2 hours at your property
- Room-by-room presentation advice for the occupied home
- Furniture placement and room-flow recommendations
- Hands-on rearranging and styling where practical
- Decluttering and editing guidance
- Advice on artwork, bedding, cushions and decorative details
- Entrance, living areas, bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom presentation review
- Photography, video and open-home presentation guidance
- Written Sale Ready action checklist after the visit
- One brief liaison with your real estate agent where helpful
What Happens During Your Sale Ready Visit
The focus is practical. We work with the property in front of us and identify the changes most worth making before it is photographed and shown to buyers.
Furniture Placement
We look at scale, spacing and traffic flow, then rearrange furniture where practical to help rooms feel more open and clearly defined.
Decluttering & Editing
I help you decide what can stay, what may be better packed away and where simplifying the room will create a calmer first impression.
Room Purpose
Each room should make sense to a buyer. We look at spare rooms, corners and awkward spaces and make their purpose easier to understand.
Finishing Details
Artwork, bedding, cushions, throws, lamps and decorative pieces are adjusted so the room feels balanced without looking over-styled.
Buyer First Impressions
We review the entrance, living areas, kitchen and bathrooms and identify the visual distractions or missed opportunities a buyer may notice.
Photography Readiness
We consider how the rooms are likely to read in real estate photography and what should be completed before the photographer arrives.
"You may not need to fully stage your home. You may simply need to know what to change."
Professional Styling Without a House Full of Hired Stock
My Sale Ready service is designed for occupied homes where there are already furnishings and accessories to work with.
I do not carry an inventory of furniture, bedding or decorative accessories for hire. The purpose of the service is to make the strongest possible presentation from what the property already has.
We make practical decisions about arrangement, editing and presentation first. If I believe one or two small purchases would make a worthwhile difference, I can suggest suitable options for the vendor to purchase directly. There is no requirement to buy additional products, and I do not provide furniture or accessory hire. Extensive sourcing is not included in the fixed service.

Homeowners, Agents & the Fraser Coast
Working With Your Real Estate Agent
If your agent has already made presentation suggestions, I am happy to work alongside those recommendations. Where useful, I can also liaise directly with your real estate agent so the styling plan and marketing timeline are aligned.
Serving Hervey Bay & the Fraser Coast
Sale Ready Styling is available in Hervey Bay and throughout the Fraser Coast. For properties outside the normal Hervey Bay service area, any travel fee is discussed and confirmed before your appointment.
You'll Work Directly With Me
Selling a home already comes with enough decisions. My role is to make the presentation side feel clearer and more manageable.
I will walk through the property with you, explain what I would change and why, and help you concentrate your time and effort on the things that will make the strongest visual difference.
Because I physically rearrange and style during the consultation, you are not simply left with a long list of ideas. We can start making improvements while I am there, then your written checklist gives you a clear plan for anything still to be completed.
Practical advice. Clear priorities. Styling with what you already own, without the cost of hiring a house full of furniture and accessories.
Would You Like to Offer Sale Ready Styling to Your Vendors?
Hervey Bay Interiors offers a private Agent Partner service for agencies that would like to include professional Sale Ready Styling as an added-value feature within selected listing or marketing packages.
A Styling Service You Can Add to Your Own
You manage the sale and your vendor relationship. I step in as the styling specialist and help the property present at its best using the furnishings already in the home.
The Agent Partner service is designed to complement the preparation work many agents already provide. The focus is the final visual presentation of bedrooms, living spaces and other key areas for photography, online marketing, open homes and buyer inspections.
Approved agents receive access to a private page containing the separate Agent Partner service, commercial pricing and inclusions that can be adapted for appraisal and marketing proposals.
Agent Partner pricing is not displayed publicly. Request access with your agency email and I will send you the private page details.
Sale Ready Styling Questions
How long are you at my property?
The standard Sale Ready Styling Consultation includes up to 2 hours at your property. The service also includes your written checklist after the visit.
Do you actually move and style things while you are there?
Yes. Where practical, we can rearrange furniture, adjust artwork and style surfaces, bedding and decorative pieces during the consultation rather than only talking about what could be changed.
Do I receive anything after the consultation?
Yes. You receive a written Sale Ready checklist so you have a clear record of the remaining jobs and priorities before photography and open homes.
Do you bring furniture, linen or styling accessories?
No. I do not carry a stock collection or provide furniture and accessory hire. Sale Ready Styling is based on making the most of the furnishings already in the property. If a small additional item would genuinely improve the presentation, I can recommend or source suitable options locally for the vendor to purchase, with the budget agreed first.
Can you come back before photography or video?
Yes. Existing Sale Ready clients can book an optional Photography-Day Styling Check for $175 for up to 60 minutes in Hervey Bay. I can return before the scheduled shoot to make final adjustments to furniture, cushions, bedding, surfaces and styling details using items already at the property. The visit is subject to availability.
Can you speak with my real estate agent?
Yes. I am happy to liaise with your agent where that helps coordinate presentation advice, photography timing or the property's marketing preparation.
What if I need more help after the consultation?
Any additional sourcing, supplier liaison, extra home visits or other work outside the fixed Sale Ready service is only undertaken with your approval and is charged at $125 per hour. The optional Photography-Day Styling Check is separately priced at $175 for up to 60 minutes in Hervey Bay.
What areas do you service?
I work throughout Hervey Bay and the Fraser Coast. Any additional travel fee outside the normal Hervey Bay area is confirmed before your booking.
How much notice do you need?
Ideally, 2 to 3 days' notice is helpful, particularly when photography has already been scheduled. I understand that real estate timelines can move quickly, so I will always do my best to accommodate shorter notice where availability allows.
Do I have to spend a lot of money after the consultation?
No. The first approach is to work with what you already own. Your checklist helps you prioritise the changes that are most worthwhile rather than assuming everything needs to be replaced.
