Interior Decorating & Sale Ready Styling
Clear, practical service options for decorating your home, developing a room plan or preparing a property for sale.
Every new enquiry begins with a complimentary 15-minute phone conversation so we can discuss your room, your priorities and the level of support you actually need.
Professional Decorating Without Paying for More Than You Need
Hervey Bay Interiors is designed for clients who want practical decorating guidance, a clear plan and the freedom to purchase and implement recommendations in their own time.
You can stop after the consultation or room plan, or add further help if you would like assistance with suppliers, purchasing coordination or final styling. The scope is agreed before work begins so there are no unexpected commitments.

What counts as one room? A single clearly defined room such as a lounge, bedroom, dining room, home office or entry. Large open-plan spaces, multiple connected rooms or projects that effectively require several areas to be designed may require a custom quotation.
Implementation & Styling Support
If you would like help after the design has been approved, you can add hands-on support without turning the decorating package into an open-ended project.
Implementation & Styling Support
For clients who would like Hervey Bay Interiors to stay involved after the room plan has been approved.
- Final selection checks and implementation planning
- Supplier liaison and showroom visits where required
- Shopping companion appointments
- Assistance with product-order coordination
- Delivery or installation coordination where agreed
- Additional property visits
- Furniture placement and final styling assistance
- Time is charged only for approved implementation work undertaken
Prepare Your Property for Sale Without Full Furniture Hire
A practical consultation and action plan for homeowners and real estate agents who want to improve a property's presentation using the furniture, artwork and decor already available.
This service focuses on presentation, flow and low-cost improvements rather than furniture hire or a complete redecoration.
Sale Ready Consultation & Plan
A professional review of the property with a clear plan for the changes that will make the greatest difference before photography and listing.
- Pre-visit review of supplied property photographs
- One property presentation consultation
- Identification of priority rooms and selling features
- Furniture placement and room-flow recommendations
- Decluttering, editing and removal priorities
- Advice on low-cost presentation improvements
- Written Sale Ready action checklist
- Standard travel within Hervey Bay included
For larger homes or more extensive preparation: a custom quotation will be provided after the property photographs, listing schedule and priority areas have been reviewed.
Kitchens, Bathrooms & Renovation Projects
These projects involve more detailed selections, coordination and decision-making, so they are not included in the standard fixed-price room packages.

Common Pricing, Scope and Booking Questions
What am I booking through Calendly?
Calendly is only used to reserve your complimentary 15-minute introductory phone call. It does not book an in-home consultation or paid package.
Can I book only an in-home consultation?
Yes. The $295 In-Home Decorating Consultation is a stand-alone advice service. There is no obligation to purchase a Room Plan or ongoing support afterward.
What is the difference between the consultation and the One Room Decorating Plan?
The consultation provides professional advice during one visit plus a brief written summary. The One Room Decorating Plan includes the additional off-site design work: a defined concept, mood board, layout options, selected 3D renders, limited product sourcing, purchase links, approximate budget and a presentation visit.
Are two layout options the same as two decorating concepts?
No. A layout option changes how furniture is arranged within the same design direction. If you want to compare two different decorating styles, palettes or overall looks, choose the Two-Concept Room Plan.
How many times will you come back to the property?
The In-Home Decorating Consultation includes one property visit. The One Room Decorating Plan and Two-Concept Room Plan include a maximum of two visits: the initial consultation and the final presentation/handover. Any further visits are charged at the additional-work rate.
What if I change my mind after the concept is presented?
One round of minor amendments is included in the Room Plan packages. Small changes such as swapping an accent cushion, artwork or similar item are fine. A substantial change of style, palette or overall design direction is treated as additional design work and quoted separately.
Are 3D renders construction drawings?
No. 3D renders are visual concept tools intended to help you understand the proposed look, layout and relationships between furnishings. They are not architectural, engineering, cabinetry or trade drawings.
Will Hervey Bay Interiors order all the products for me?
Not as part of the standard consultation or Room Plan. You receive direct supplier links and normally purchase products yourself. If you would like help coordinating purchases, suppliers, deliveries or installation, Implementation & Styling Support can be added.
Are sample ordering and postage included?
No. Supplier sample charges, postage and courier fees are paid by the client. If you would like Hervey Bay Interiors to spend additional time arranging, collecting or coordinating samples, that time is charged separately.
Do the standard room packages include kitchen or bathroom design?
No. Kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, built-in cabinetry and renovation projects are separately scoped and priced because they generally require more detailed selection work and coordination.
Does Sale Ready Styling include furniture hire?
No. Sale Ready Styling is designed to improve the presentation of an occupied property by making the best use of the furniture, artwork and decor already available. Any additional sourcing or styling visits are discussed separately.
Do I need to replace everything in the room?
No. A key part of the Hervey Bay Interiors approach is making the most of what you already own and recommending new pieces only where they improve the room.
